Today I participated in an important meeting chaired by the Director General of the @MoIS_FGS , Mr. @Moshireh The meeting focused on the development of IT systems and data analytics to improve work efficiency and enhance the quality of services within the Ministry.

Today, officials participated in a workshop for department directors of the @MoIS_FGS aimed at developing a unified action plan to accelerate the Ministry’s key priorities over the next six months.

It is an honour and privilege to participate in the 13th World Urban Forum Ministerial meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan, organised by @WUF_UNHabitat. Will be sharing Somalia’s policy ambitions, successes and challenges in Housing development during this week with diverse stakeholders.

At the National Stabilisation Coordination Forum, Minister of Interior Security General Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail @Senfartaag highlighted the Federal Government’s progress in strengthening internal security, especially in areas recently liberated from extremist groups. He attributed these achievements to the unity between national security agencies and the Somali people who worked together to build lasting peace and stability. the minister emphasised that ongoing cooperation among security institutions is essential for sustainable stabilisation and implementing the government’s national recovery and development plans. “Security and stability are a shared responsibility, and our success lies in our unity,” the Minister stated.

Paid a courtesy visit to HE Hamza Abdi Barre, the Prime Minister; thanked him for the trust & the opportunity to serve as Director General of @mois. I outlined the Ministry’s priorities, focusing on implementing key Performance indicator to support the national stability agenda.

Today, we mourn the loss of six United States Servicemembers who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Nation. These brave Americans answered the call without hesitation. They stood the watch on behalf of the American people and our way of life. The Department of the Navy stands shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters of the @USArmy and the entire Joint Force as we grieve this loss and honor their courage.
