Fresh details have emerged about the elders’ care home in Anguruwathota where 12 people died in a devastating fire yesterday. Today I learnt that there are around 65 families in Canal Rd/Wellawatte who have no food to eat. There are some people who send them food (one on regular basis) and that is the only food they get. The daily wage they earn frm 1000 to 3000 goes for utilities, school expenses.
