@ArjunJung, @ibiu1__, @mussabham & more - why are South Asian ballers thriving in a space like @BallerLeagueUK, in a way we have never seen in traditional football? @desiballers brings it back to visibility. Full interview in replies.

Another day, another hearing, another appeal but still the same old outcome; a loss for FSV Mainz 05. Regular defeats on the football pitch clearly aren’t enough for the board of the club so they keep coming back for more losses in the German courts ! I am grateful to the German courts for serving justice and seeing through the baseless and nonsensical claims of the club. Let me be clear, the statement from the serial losers FSV Mainz 05 following their latest defeat is as deluded as their entire dealings and proceedings against me. I have never had, nor will I ever have, any consensus with any person or organisation which seeks to silence those standing for justice and humanity. My values can never align with any organisation whose values and convictions are to blindly stand with those accused of flagrantly breaching International law and perpetrating genocide. No one is above the law. Let this latest victory send a loud and clear to message to the warmongers, their accomplices and the deluded board members of FSV Mainz 05; you cannot, and will not, silence the voices of the Palestinians and their advocates. Viva Palestina !!!

The genocide has just gone quieter, slower, more insidious. It has not stopped. Nor should we stop opposing it!
Channel 4 News is inside one of many warehouses filled with tonnes of aid that the Israeli authorities are not letting through to Gaza. It's estimated that there is enough aid for 150 trucks per day, five days per week for three months to help Palestinians. We have reached out to the Israeli government for a response.

Hopefully, I’ve managed to say what @MoSalah could not. Eight years at Liverpool, winning everything, three times in the Ballon d’Or top six, yet never a frontrunner. His faith, his name, his identity, and UEFA’s bias may have denied him football’s most coveted prize. ⬇️
NEW: Mohamed Salah is not favourite for the Ballon d’Or – and here is why lfc.thisisanfield.com/TNCPWC

If you hold a placard saying you support Palestine Action, you get nicked. If you hold a banner saying 'Kill 'Em All' outside a hotel housing asylum seekers, the police look the other way.

The Salah effect? Uefa establishes partnerships with Medecins du Monde, Medecins sans Frontières and Handicap International, charities “providing vital humanitarian help for the children of Gaza, who are enduring what UN Secretary General António Guterres has described as, ‘a humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions’.” Help urgently required. Interesting whether this is a response to Mo Salah’s pointed post on X questioning Uefa over its limited statement about the death of the former Palestine player, Suleiman Al-Obeid, killed in Gaza. “Can you tell us how he died, where, and why?” Salah asked Uefa on Saturday. Of today’s Uefa Foundation partnerships, president Aleksander Ceferin says: “Whatever the adults waging wars think they are doing, the children are innocent. But, in all conflicts, they are dying every single day and we must do what we can to help those who are trying to make life more tolerable and normal for them. It's our duty - as adults, as parents, as neighbours, as human beings - to stand beside children when they need us.”
