@virginmedia @VirginMediaCorp I'm returning abroad and was misled in setting up a broadband contract, that it would be possible to cancel w/o an EDF from a salesperson on the live chat (see screenshot). Now I'm being told I need to pay > £500 to terminate. Please can you help?!

Got my first C19 Vaccine today! Some fun facts: It all happens INCREDIBLY quickly; 40 mins in/out. Lovely doctors, volunteers. Couldn’t be nicer. You have a doctor to speak to first to answer any questions you have. Vaccination is normal injection. 10 min oversight at end for s/e

[Possibly] unpopular opinion: Offering remote work is great, but there is 100% value to being in the same physical office / workplace as other members of your team and company. There are a lot of solid remote tools today, but none that fully replace direct human interaction.

Firestore makes absolutely no sense for my use case (small personal MVP) but unfortunately Firebase's suite of tools are too good to pass up on for the moment. Speed > building API Auth w/ Social Login etc etc etc .
