As a result of a US government directive, we are suspending access to Claude Fable 5 for all users. You can continue to use all other Claude models. Here’s what this means for you: Across Claude products, new sessions will run on your selected default model or Opus 4.8, and existing Fable 5 sessions will end with an error. On the Claude Platform, requests to Fable 5 will also return an error. Please update your integrations to other Claude models. We know this is a disruption to your workflows; we appreciate your patience and support.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

We planted our garden over Memorial Day and Gardener Dad mode has been activated. Turns out both design and gardening involve obsessing over systems, spacing, user experience, and wondering why something looked better in the mockup. 🧑‍🌾

buttery UI exploration for @givebutter

A lot of AI design tools feel like the wild west right now. You drop a prompt in, you get shiny UI out. Fun? Absolutely. Useful? Sometimes. The real trick for teams isn’t creating something from scratch. It’s taking something from 1 → n inside the product you already ship without blowing up the collaborative system that makes it possible. Over the past month I’ve been utilizing @magicpatterns to do just that and more. It lets me vibe out ideas quickly with our component system. The things I prototype don’t feel like sci-fi mockups, they look like the product our users already know and trust. That shifts the conversation from “cool demo” to “could we ship this?” It’s also inverted my process. I used to start in Figma and move toward something more real later. Now I’m spending a majority of my time in Magic Patterns (designing with our system, testing ideas in-browser, pushing on interactions) and then using Figma in the final third for polish and handoff. Magic Patterns doesn’t replace taste, alignment, or hard thinking. But it tightens the loop between exploration and production in a way that feels practical and energizing. Still experimenting. Still learning.

Yesterday we launched @HeyJunoApp: a creative engine for building art that moves, reacts, and evolves. Most people are underestimating what it can do. So we made a 7-minute speedrun demo to show you.

1/5 I am really happy that @heyjuno_app is now live! A few months ago i was privileged to hop on a call with @benstraussphoto @daniel100eth and get to know more about Juno and start the closed beta testing. It was really exciting for me, I saw that It is a tool that lets you put your imagination to work whether you can code or not. You can add a new layer to your painting, make it interactive, add a narrative element, add mystery and fun. you can vibe code a creation if you wish and fine tune to your satisfaction. it is responsive and intuitive, you can create your recipes from scratch or evolve the ones graciously shared by community members. I would not hype it to the heavens and call it an all mighty tool but I dare say if you can imagine it and think it through Juno will be a great collaborative partner to help you achieve it within it's limitations. And the team is open to answer your questions. Throughout the closed beta period I have been able to create a few pieces with Juno I'll Share them below👇you can interact with them on @TransientLabs .🧵
