I'm happy to report the Durham Union event went very well, lots of good-faith questions from the floor and to the best of my knowledge nobody expired because of my presence in Durham. I don't know how the SU's alternative “welfare-focussed” event to “celebrate trans joy” went. Also well, I hope. It sounds dull, but each to their own.

That's not the argument at all, but i can see why they'd find it preferable to misrepresent the objection to sexualising children rather than engage in an honest debate.
Electric shock therapy couldn't make gay ppl straight but they really think having a rainbow poster that says "be you" at an elementary school is going to turn children gay
