Really sad news. Gone too soon. May his soul rest in peace
Heartbroken to hear about Jaspal Rana’s passing.
Jaspal was my teammate, and in many ways, part of a generation that helped shape Indian shooting. He was intense, gifted, and carried the pride of the country every time he stepped onto the range.
This is a huge loss for our sport. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, students and everyone whose life he touched.

Airlines in India dont allow pets over 10 kg in cabin, so peace monks are traveling by bus to Sarnath etc. Their 2 hrs journey extended to 12 hrs. Monks are happy to take pain but not ready to leave Aloka in baggage compartment

That's Mickey - a beautiful innocent soul I used to see when walking around our apartment society in Mumbai - Raheja Exotica, Madh Island.
Some residents paid a society housekeeping staff to beat him to death, stuff him in a gunny bag and dispose of him.
Was holding back from posting this for the last 3 days due to the police investigation that is underway there.
But this is the reality of India today.
Today it's 'just a dog'.
Tomorrow one of these residents could do this to your own child. Once they have blood on their hands, they will stop at nothing. Such is hatred.

The airline lost my bag for 72 hours.
They handed me a $50 “courtesy” voucher at the baggage desk and smiled like they’d done me a favor.
I kept the voucher. Then I opened my laptop and used a 1999 international treaty they never mention at check-in.

The CBI has arrested Manisha Sanjay Havaldar, a Pune school headmistress (Sheth Hiralal Saraf Parshala) for leaking the NEET-UG 2026 Physics paper. Her biggest qualifier? She was appointed by the NTA itself as an expert, giving her direct access to the questions.
CBI says she leaked question paper to her co-accused Manisha Mandhare, who has been arrested on May 16. The leaked questions matched those in the NEET UG exam 2026.
Three very insiders - P V Kulkarni (retired Chemistry lecturer from Latur) – accused of leaking the Chemistry portion.
Manisha Mandhare (Senior Botany teacher from Pune) – accused of leaking the Biology (Botany and Zoology) portion and now
Manisha Havaldar (School Headmistress from Pune) - accused of leaking Physics portion - trusted to safeguard the future of 22 lakh students are the ones leaking the papers.

The most deserving man for the job V D Satheesan really had to fight for his post.
The Congress Legislature Party had met in Thiruvananthapuram on May 7th, 2026 and had unanimously resolved to authorize the Congress President to appoint the new leader of the CLP in the state of Keralam.
Accordingly, the Congress President has held extensive discussions with the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, the AICC Observers who had met with the newly elected MLAs on May 7th, 2026 and many other leaders from the state including MPs, former PCC Presidents have also been consulted.
Based on all these discussions, it has been decided that Shri @vdsatheesan be appointed as the leader of the CLP.
