We view with utmost seriousness the participation of three Vice-Chancellors in an #RSS centenary event addressed by Sarsanghchalak #MohanBhagwat. This is a grave lapse. Their action is unbecoming of Keralam’s educational tradition and the dignity of their office. The people of Keralam hold the post of vice-chancellor in high esteem. By attending a programme led by an RSS leader who preaches extreme communalism, they have undermined that respect. Any act that promotes communalism, whoever commits it, is unacceptable and will not be condoned. All three vice-chancellors who attended the RSS programme must apologise to the people of Keralam. @INCIndia @INCKerala

What kind of a comprehensive strategic partnership we are talking about when one side is shooting missiles at the sailors of the other in waters close to the latter's shores? Like any self-confident, rising country, India must also treat the killing of its nationals by foreign powers as the brightest of our red lines. The Prime Minister's silence is not helping him politically or the country geopolitically.

So Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination from Madhya Pradesh was rejected because "she didn’t disclose a private complaint" in her affidavit. But the Hyderabad court has now returned that very petition, holding that it has no jurisdiction. The complaint was never taken cognizance of, and she was only named as a respondent & "not as an accused." Unfortunately the Hon'ble Supreme Court had already dismissed her plea. This is how the system screws you & the opposition lost a fair seat! I agree she was done in by some people but the institutions should protect the weak not allow for manipulation!
