हाल ही में @BSNLCorporate द्वारा एक महत्वकांक्षी प्रोजेक्ट पूरा किया गया। BSNL ने अंडमान निकोबार द्वीप समूह को चेन्नई से जोड़ने के लिए बंगाल की विशालकाय खाड़ी में 2313 किमी.ऑप्टिकल फाइबर लाइन बिछा कर ये मुश्किल काम किया।
