No. This is not acceptable. The methods section is the single most important part of a scientific paper. If those details are relegated to supplementary materials, then it's not a scientific paper in a scientific journal.

#OceanAsGaeilge🌊🇮🇪 The Irish for the Sandwich tern is "geabhróg scothdhubh", meaning "black tufted tern" for the black tufts on their heads🐦‍⬛ Their English name is such as the 🧑‍🔬 who named them lived in a town called Sandwich. Not because he thought they'd make a tasty lunch🥪
