The brave and brilliant 13-year old Naya Fakih, who was caught up in Israel’s devastating strikes on Beirut on Wednesday, sends a message to the world: “no child deserves to go through what I went through”. She also tells @SkyYaldaHakim she’s sorry for swearing.

Yesterday my wonderful friend Paul Conroy @reflextv died of a heart attack. After years taking pictures and reporting in some of the world’s most dangerous places, he was visiting family in Devon. All of us who knew and loved him are devastated. He was 61.
