It’s a great honor to receive the Best Poster Award at MRS!!! Huge thanks to my advisors, Prof. Polina Anikeeva and Prof. Robert Macfarlane, as well as my colleagues and collaborators for their support!
Researchers including DMSE’s Polina Anikeeva and grad student Ye Ji Kim have discovered that magnetic nanodiscs could provide less invasive brain stimulation, paving the way for stimulation therapies without implants or genetic modification. @AnikeevaLabbuff.ly/4f0tYh4
every night before I sleep I say a blessing to this reviewer I once got
ALT “To my mind this is an excellent paper. The manuscript clearly describes an extensive (and very well-performed) body of work. Methods are described in appropriate detail; conclusions are well supported by the results as presented. I really have no suggestions for improvement, the paper is already of publication quality and is likely to be of significant interest to those who study the circuitry and function of the early visual system.”
seriously there is NOTHING WRONG with saying that a manuscript is fine as it is and does not need further changes! I think half the problem with peer review is that we all feel under pressure to find flaws, however minor, to show we are doing our jobs.
I visited OIST yesterday and felt it’s one of the best research institutes in Japan. Huge thanks to @Y0ist_2019 for the fantastic tour!🙏
I will be at #Neuro2024 from today. See you there~
I'll be visiting OIST on 7/23! Unfortunately, the campus tour was cancelled for that day. But I'm already excited just looking at the campus maps with "イオン" in the village area 📈

I’m planning to visit OIST this July after Neuro2024, probably alone.
