BREAKING: France humiliates Trump's ambassador Charles Kushner, father of Jared, by BANNING him from meeting with any members of their government after he caused an international incident. Kushner — a convicted felon who was pardoned by Trump and then given the Ambassadorships to France and Monaco after donating massive sums of money to his political campaigns — had been summoned to speak with the French government after the Trump administration stated that a French far-right figure had been killed by "left-wing militants." They claimed that the French Minister of the Interior had "corroborated" that narrative. Quentin Deranque, the far-right activist in question, was killed by several assailants who may have been left-wing. By rushing to politicize the murder in strictly partisan terms, the Trump administration demonstrated the same lack of prudence, patience, and common sense that has defined their domestic agenda. The result was a further inflaming of tensions that the French government clearly does not appreciate. "We reject any instrumentalization of this tragedy, which has plunged a French family into mourning, for political ends," said French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. "We have no lessons to learn, particularly on the issue of violence, from the international reactionary movement." Kushner's refusal to answer the summons to discuss the incident is totally unacceptable and displays a profound lack of respect for his French hosts. An ambassador to a close ally like this should conduct themselves with class and intelligence. This is what happens when you allow criminals to buy their way into ambassadorships.
