Why do you need a promo video at all? If your app requires a 5m demo video— it is already complicated. Make the UX so simple that anyone can just open it and understand how it works in ~15s
This is what I was talking about earlier. You can’t give this kind of advice because it’s not realistic. That video worked for him not because of the video itself. He could have uploaded a photo of a rock or a screenshot of the website. It worked because of his 100,000 followers and because he collaborated with Marc. If you upload a video that simple, with no extra value, probably nobody will watch it and, much less, buy into your hypothesis. Sorry, the reality hurts.

i made an app that feeds you to the sharks if you don't publicly launch your own product in 30 days. no more of this: "dude i just 100x'ed my workflow with this new AI model"... meanwhile... 0 projects launched 0 revenue 0 users 100 x 0 = still 0. it's time to go from 0 to 1. it's time to: SHlPORDIE.COM 🏴‍☠️. ship a new product every 30 days until one changes your life or... DIE, in the app, and get kicked from the community forever while being publicly humiliated. no refunds for those who fail to ship. custom trophies to be collected for those who succeed. if you DO ship, you also get to remain in a community of people who actually ship things and get users revenue. sidenote: i'm really excited to see if this can be the push someone needs like how @marclou's shipfast project pushed me and is the entire reason i have a $35K MRR solo operated SaaS now and many other successful mobile apps GLHF, DON'T DIE, and KEEP GOING!! i've never taken a launch this legit so let's see how it goes :)

ASO is officially dead. We released an iOS app and got only 7 daily installs in the first month. Almost no purchases. 2 years ago after the app release we got 10x more daily installs and a lot of purchases. Organic doesn’t work anymore. Hard times for indies.

The main problem with this approach is content QUALITY. People like good videos, not spam. So no matter how many videos you post, if the videos are BAD, you will lose anyway.
I thought having 40 TikTok accounts was already insane. But this guy running 600 accounts with 69k posted videos. 🫠 At this point, organic growth is no longer about “posting content.” It’s about building a distribution machine. Virality depends on luck. But volume increases luck. i need more accounts 🥴

Why CalZ is still alive while 3 other apps are not? 1. CalZ is a unique brand. 2. CalZ does not use a Cal AI keyword in its title. Based on that: If you are using the EXACT BRAND NAME of your competitor in your title — most likely you will be banned.
Manually checked the clone apps. 3 out of 4 have been removed from the App Store. Only Calz by Wachanga is still available for download.

That is why you need ugc meta stuff TOGETHER. 1. Post 100 videos organically. 2. Get 2 viral videos. 3. Launch meta on these 2 videos. It sounds simple, but I am surprised that so FEW people actually DO it.
So far I’m learning this is very bad That I need to work on the hook (most important) And I’m going to go bankrupt at this rate 😅

One thought keeps bothering me. If you know how to get a million users to your app, you can build anything. The only real bottleneck is LTV. And surprisingly, LTV MOSTLY depends on the problem you solve, not the product. If you build for students (like we do), your LTV is naturally limited — no matter how good the product is. So the thought is: Why build something small, when you can build something bigger with the same effort? 🤔

YES. I am 99% sure they will roll out a new algo to ALL users soon. It is already working the same on TikTok, Instagram, etc. To reach US users, your location should be in the US. There is no reason why X will not implement the same.
