with lucia going away @better_auth might just be the best auth library for JavaScript/TypeScript right now, excited to try it out in my next project, the docs look great.

Had to work with a library called Amazon Paapi today. It's not even a community library, it's an OFFICIAL amazon library. I wonder if Jeff got divorced because his ex-wife refused to call him amazon paapi

I actually like typescript but definitely not today, one of those days where building the thing takes 10min and getting typescript to work takes 2hrs

#pinia tip: Destructure stores with storeToRefs() to keep refs reactive. Example: // Break reactivity const { enabledSkills, resumePreview } = useResumePreviewStore(); // Keep reactivity const { enabledSkills, resumePreview } = storeToRefs(useResumePreviewStore()); #vuejs

As much as I love working with vue.js, I'm really hoping Svelte continues the momentum, and the svelte ecosystem (& adoption) grows enough for me to switch to it.
its really shocking seeing the amount of "i love svelte" it use to be, last year, i would only see "i love react" and people upset at the hot takes, but now it feels the tides are turning

TIL: `typeof` is the only JS operator that can reference something that doesn't exist without an error. `console.log(undefinedVariable)` throws a ReferenceError, but `typeof undefinedVariable` returns "undefined". #LearnInPublic #JavaScript

❓ If you had to choose between coding with a great keyboard ⌨️ but a shitty monitor or a great monitor 🖥️ but a shitty keyboard, which one would you choose? I might be the minority here, but I would actually pick the monitor over a keyboard 🤷‍♂️.
