In 2019, after years of fighting like hell to protect repro rights, we won - and RI codified abortion protections into law. Abortion is legal in RI. That only stays legal with a pro-choice governor and a pro-choice legislature.
But we have so much more to do. 🧵

In 2018 the people of Ireland spoke loud and clear. Repealing one of the strictest abortion bans in the world. Giving Irish women their rights. We looked to America as an example of freedom. With Roe v Wade overturned, the world continues to watch America become unrecognisable.
