I've let my AI tools research all session logs (whether successful or failed) of the past year and let it destill a lessons-learned master reverse engineering skill. Here it is for you as well to enjoy: gist.github.com/bkerler/301c… P.S.: There might a tool being spoiled which is tbr.

That's it. I'm actively looking into new models/harnesses for my daily use. Currently kicking tires on pi.dev Also hearing really good things about Qwen3.6-27B so will be trying that out. Also my self-hosting arc is probably coming faster that I expected.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

There are two types of Ai users: Those who strive for full-auto, and abstracting themselves from the process Those who babysit, and frequently use /btw because they want to learn from the process & correct errors as they pop up. Don't be the first guy.

Then take their compute and give it to any lab in the US on the condition they publish open weight. I just don’t want ai controlled by some crazy ceo who gets to decide who gets access and what they get to do

Stop making us root for the Chinese models.
Today I'm publishing a new essay, Policy on the AI Exponential. AI is progressing extremely fast—much faster than the policy process was built to handle. The essay lays out where I think the technology is now, and the action needed to close the gap: darioamodei.com/post/policy-…

I know everyone is having fun ripping on Opus 4.x now, but I really appreciate the added awareness the model has of its context window.

The human heart is not filled by accumulating experiences, possibilities, or temporary guarantees; it is filled when it discovers a call, when it understands that life reaches fullness only if it is given. Following Christ does not impoverish existence, but expands it. #ApostolicJourney

$808k raised with over 2380 backers on Proxmark5 - thank you! We're pushing hard for the $1M Transparent Casing stretch goal in the final week. Only 7 days left at early pricing. What do you think, should we go for it?

I've had this side project on the backburner for a long time... The XGecu line of universal programmers are awesome, but they come with some of the sketchiest proprietary Windows software ever. (XGPro) MiniPro is an software program made to interact with the XGecu hardware. An open source XGPro alternative.

Over some cycles of loading in different kinds of chips and giving it USB captures of the Windows software, Claude Code slowly built up its knowledge of the entire T76 protocol. It makes me wonder: How many hackers are now going to be able to complete those side projects they always wanted to do but never had the time? How many closed source tools/hardware can be opened up with a decompiler and some subsidized tokens?

23.5 hours later... there's an app and it's open source. It tracks activities & sleep. It has full sensor support: HR, SpO2, HRV, Temperature, Motion, etc.

We are in a golden age where, if you are good at systems and understanding, AI increases your abilities by an order of magnitude. But if you are not good at it, you just spin your wheels and end up nowhere helpful
