This confrontation between the Venezuelan diaspora and the U.S.-aligned Delcy regime is likely to become one of the key challenges moving forward. The divide is deep, emotional, and rooted in years of political conflict and displacement. As regime-linked officials increasingly appear at public events—like the one today—these tensions are likely to surface more frequently and visibly. The Trump administration won't like these scenes messing with the recovery and transition phases.
