In crisis, you shouldn't have to "figure out" or "navigate systems."
You should have places to go for help. Immediately.
Thank you @GirmayZahilay@macklemore and so many others.
Y'all know that our health care professionals have been through. it. Sharing their stories is one small way we can help.

As if you needed another reason to avoid single-use plastics.
The plastics industry has duped so many of us into thinking if it has the recycling symbol on it that it's going to be recycled! Here's the proof that it just isn't true. Single-use plastic is garbage.
Only 5% or plastics in the US is recycled, and the peak was never higher than 10% (in 2014)

I'm heartbroken for this sweet family. The warmth and friendliness of The Postman was clearly a reflection of who they are. Holding them in the Light. <3
#ThePostman - Last year we partnered with Vanishing Seattle and made a short film about D'Vonne and Keanna Pickett and The Postman - Hoping you can spare 6 minutes to watch and understand more about why we are feeling such a loss. #CentralDistrict
Again, if your PNW friend, family member, or colleague is not at their best right now, this is probably why. It’s hard to express how exhausting it is to exist in this.
In mid-JUN the pattern shifted from wet/cool to dry/warm. Over the last 120 days (since roughly mid-June) we've had a total of 0.54" of rain at SeaTac. That's the driest 120 day stretch ever in Seattle. The only other year with a 120 day stretch under 1" was in 2018 (0.96") #wawx
Holy wow friends. At long last I've set up at my home office desk and it's ergonomically fabulous. Wobble seat, sit/stand desk, and a little help from a stack of Harry Potter books to get my monitor level with my face. Helloooooooo!
If someone you know in the PNW is unusually cranky, sad, or feeling end-of-the-world-y, please keep this in mind. It is gorgeous outside but the air is toxic and it’s a lot. Send hugs and rain our way please.
