I highly recommend this position to anyone looking for a post-doc. I had the great pleasure to work with Pablo for 5 years. An excellent scientist and colleague. His lab is doing really exciting work!

Excited to share our latest research in @PLOSPathogens examining immune parameters associated with worse outcomes in severe COVID-19 and influenza virus infection. Activation of #MAIT cells was the strongest predictor of poor outcome in both diseases. journals.plos.org/plospathog…

These findings contextualize studies from @SandbergLabKI and Agnes Lehuen, which linked MAIT cell activation and worse outcomes in COVID-19. From our broad screen of immune responses, MAIT cells were in fact the strongest predictor. science.org/doi/10.1126/scii… nature.com/articles/s41590-0…
