In the USA you can just do things
I believe in Americans. I’ve witnessed what my people can do.

Tha BONE
The roar of a B-1B Lancer assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, over Washington, D.C., tonight. 🇺🇸 As America approaches its #Freedom250 anniversary, military flyovers remain a powerful tradition—honoring the past, celebrating the present and inspiring future generations. #UFCWhiteHouse

OK now we're getting into my top five. 5. Christine (1983). One of John Carpenter's best, and one of the best Stephen King film adaptions. There are plenty of horror movies with vehicular villains but Christine is the only one where it's the object of a gearhead's obsessive love. And why not? It's a bitchin' indestructable 1958 Plymouth Fury. 4. Ronin (1995). I had to include a car chase classic in the list, and sorry, Ronin beat out Bullitt. Yes, McQueen's 'Stang vs the black Charger is an all-timer, but the rest of the film is kinda boring (ducks). Ronin is Frankenheimer's second in my list, a terrific movie even without the mindblowing stunt driving. 3. Le Mans (1971). This was Steve McQueen's labor of love, and he sunk boatloads of his own money into it. Captured hours of amazing you-are-there racing action from the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans and built a fictional plot around it. It was a critical and box office failure when released, but now increasingly regarded as a classic. 2. Two Lane Blacktop (1971). Starring Dennis Wilson and James Taylor as two men street racing across America in a '55 Chevy, and Warren Oates as their GTO-driving rival. It also transcended that low budget drive-in genre with spare, zen-like atmospherics. Esteemed even by Euro film auteurs as a classic.

Surround yourself with people who build and create — and your life will be great. Surround yourself with people who destroy and complain—and your life will suck. It’s actually that simple.

The problem with many non-profits is that they get paid for "trying," not for "succeeding." That's why profit is a powerful and effective motivator.
