I now constantly get questions about the SAAS meltdown, role of AI, system of records etc. I don't have an answer to all these. But I do know that we saw an acceleration in our business in Q2, Q3, and now finished the year with accelerating Q4. The question is, why? Short answer: AI. But the underlying reason is subtle. We are growing fast because we are finally removing the biggest bottleneck in data: the technical barrier to entry. For years, if you didn’t know SQL, Python, you were locked out of the value chain. That has changed fundamentally with the π†πžπ§π’πž 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐒π₯𝐲, and it is the "secret sauce" behind our recent momentum: β€’ π†πžπ§π’πž: Analysts can query data without any SQL. I use this every day myself. β€’ πƒπšππš π’πœπ’πžπ§πœπž π†πžπ§π’πž: Builds end-to-end AI models for you, similar to Cursor for ML on your data. β€’ πƒπšππš π„π§π π’π§πžπžπ« π†πžπ§π’πž: Write Spark pipelines, does plumbing, troubleshooting. We've been talking about DATA AI democratization, but generative AI finally enabled it in a way that wasn't possible before. That's why we're seeing a market response. Take π‹πšπ€πžπ›πšπ¬πž 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬. We launched this serverless engine for agents and apps recently. At 8 months into its journey, its revenue is already 2x what our Data Warehouse product was at the same stage. All this taken together, we ended up with the following stats for Q4: πŸš€ $5.4B Revenue Run-Rate, growing >65% YoY πŸš€ $1.4B AI Revenue Run-Rate πŸš€ FCF Positive for the year πŸš€ NRR >>140% databricks.com/company/newsr…

I was studying other times in history when gold prices more than doubled in the reserve currency of the time, as they did in the past year: it's rare and almost always a sign of a profound loss of confidence in the existing monetary and political order, going all the way back to the Roman empire (the so-called "Crisis of the Third Century"). And it often marked the transition from one era of power to the next: the fall of Rome, Spain's decline from world power, the French Revolution and Terror, the end of Bretton Woods, etc. Interestingly, it's often actually as much a cause as a sign of these episodes, as this is effectively a transfer of real wealth from the poor to the rich elites who protect themselves with gold - this being what ignites the political upheaval. The weird aspect of the current episode is the relative silence around it: we're witnessing what may be one of the great pivotal moments in financial history yet it's being barely discussed.
BREAKING: Gold officially crosses above $4,000/oz for the first time in history. Gold is now worth ~$27 TRILLION.

Kaspa peaked when Binance launched futures When the largest exchange In the world launches futures on an asset, especially without launching spot in tandem, it allows for market makers to short and buy spot. This has been the playbook with Binance and Wintermute all cycle as @martypartymusic points out very often. Short perps while farming fee’s and buy spot (the dip) and come out delta neutral or positive. This is why our cycle has lasted longer and it seems every move in crypto retraces 50% or more. I have a strong hunch that wallet #2 (soon to be #1) is Wintermute. Their buy sell patterns are extremely calculated and measured as @skibumtrading points out almost as if they are starting to make the market while still accumulating. The wallet also started to accumulate immediately after Kaspa’s top when Binance listed Kaspa perps. Here’s the good news 2 parts: 1. There should be a Binance spot listing soon not that Wintermute had created a mini bear market and has been able to accumulate for cheap. They are about to turn into the top wallet and it is all their own funds that were used to accumulate kaspa (over 100musd worth). It’s confirmed that Binance was working with kaspa on wallet integration and are probably waiting to be done accumulating before an announcement. 2. Because Kaspa is fair launch Binance/Wintermute had to accumulate Kaspa on their own dime. It’s there incentive moving into the parabolic phase of the bull market now to send things the other way and re price kaspa much higher. This will allow them to siphon off some of their holding for much more in order to cover their cost basis. A powerful entity wants to create a bear market to accumulate. Once they accumulate they DO NOT want a bear market. I think this is the Kaspa bottom and Wintermute/Binance now wants to make fee’s and money from their investment and will send us to Valhalla. Kaspa is the best asset in crypto, everyone knows it, they are just waiting for a hint of positive PA and there will be enormous FOMO in my opinion as we saw in 2022-2023z

Unfortunately for some, and fortunately for everyone, technology evolves. The first phone wasn’t the best smartphone, and in the same way, blockDAGs are here to surpass blockchains. Not because I say so, but because that’s how technology evolves.

At this point, anyone looking to scam in crypto just makes a meme coinβ€”no need to build an evolutionary BlockDAG (no easy BTW). Kaspa is real P2P and a true store of value: the evolution of blockchain. The future is here.

Bitcoin lost its role as P2P and survives only as β€˜reserve.’ Kaspa is both true P2P and a store of value. Blockchain is the past, BlockDAG is evolution. Always rember: narratives fade, innovation prevails.
