I was not outsourced. We were employed as consultants by an India/Canadian firm to run it's operations in West Africa. After 2 years we were moved to full time employees(FTE) and it was at that time they started paying NHF and pension

Offer letters are not all the same. If you are employed as a consultant or contractor you are likely not going to be paying pension. Just Payee is what you will be paying. I know cos I did it for 2 years before a was converted to FTE. And they started paying pension

If you have an offer letter and your organization has an employer code you can. Otherwise you would have open a ppp ( micro pension)account.
But wait remote jobs don't pay pensions??

I am not sure you can open an RSA on your own. It's mostly opened by cooperate organization with more than 5 staff. Those in the sector can help out here. I know there is what is called micro pension or something for market people. I think you can explore it .

They could decide to open an RSA or their company would do that for them and fund themselves.
U just need our offer letter or staff id, additional means of ID, nin passport

There are 2 types of Nigerian tech companies.
The top 5% like Paystack, Andela, Cowrywise, Piggyvest. Top culture, Top career growth.
The remaining 95% are extremely bad for your mental health and career. Worst interviews, poor salaries, zero growth.
