New paper! The Guiana dolphin in Sepetiba Bay has suffered multiple impacts due to human-induced rapid environmental change. Currently, they are found in smaller groups, spend more time looking for food than feed, communicate 85% less, reduce site fidelity and use a larger area.

I am very happy with this award to my student. Today she won the Luiza Pinho Sartori award for the best research in the field of conservation. She are study the effectiveness of MPAs to protect the acoustic habitat of Guiana dolphins. I'm really pround!
