We were delighted to host a meeting with the UN OHCHR Board of Trustees of the Voluntary Fund for Technical Cooperation, donor colleagues and civil society to discuss challenges and opportunities for greater cooperation on human rights in Kenya.
On this #AntiFGMDay, we stand against Female Genital Mutilation. FGM violates the rights, health, and dignity of girls and women and has no medical benefit. Together, through education and action, we can end FGM and protect every girl. 💜

📢 We are excited to share with you our Impact Report 2024/25. 💐
Across the year, Womankind was in partnership with 46 organisations in 6 countries, supported 99 feminist initiatives and funded 61 partners and grantees. The world around us continues to change but our pursuit of equality and freedom for women, girls and people of all genders remains unflinching.
That’s why Womankind funds and takes collective action with women’s rights organisations, feminist movements and activists – together we’re creating a feminist future.

🎶 We began with song — a call to our ancestors, a rhythm of resistance, a breath before the story.
At the #PanAfricanWomensFestival, even before the screen lit up, our voices reminded us: we come from women who fight and sing.

🎬 Tonight at #PanAfricanWomensFestival
We honour Njambi Koikai with a tribute screening of ASNI — the story of Asnaketch Worku, Ethiopia’s fierce and iconic artist who defied gender norms through art, music, film.

The screening of SIRA @feminist_centre – Kibra was a powerful gathering under the #PanAfricanWomensFestival. The film reminded us of the unwavering spirit of women in resistance and survival.
The struggle lives on. ✊🏿

Pro-choice & Pro -Life Feminists🤔🤔🤔 Extremely Dialectical...
We really need to continue building consensus around such contradictions.
The Feminism pedagogy ideally looks at countering oppression.
Asante Njugush for the reminder.
The abducted people, you never said anything.
They killed women and girls, you never said anything.
They profiled and arrested young people, you never said anything.
They introduced laws that affected us, you never said anything
Next, they are coming for you!
