Many people interested in homesteading, don't realize how little space you actually need to do all the things! It's true that we live on 40 acres, but we really only use about 2.75 acres. If my topography wasn't so steep because of our mountain ridge location and rocky soil, we could probably fit all of these things into 1 acre or less. What we fit on these 2.75 acre is this: 3000 square foot 2 story home with 2000 SF of covered deck area 3 greenhouses, 1 fully heated, 2500 SF total 2000 SF of shop space in one garage and a steal quonset hut 2 ponds 1/3 acre park green space 1 wood fire sauna 800 SF guest house / cabin 2000 SF chicken run 20 kW / 48 solar panels on 3 racks turn around driveway quarter acre of vegetable gardens quarter acre of food forest Boiler / Generator shack space to move around One big thing we don't do much of on our property is animals. We have layer hens and I sometimes do chickens and turkeys for meat birds, but not this year. We don't have room for cows or other grazing animals. For that, we would definitely need to add a couple acres at least depending on what you wanted. The point of this message is to convey that you can actually do a lot with very little. Most people don't need 3 greenhouses. Also keep in mind, in a warm climate, you would need a lot less of these things as well.

Acceptance is everything in life and law. Without acceptance, you can’t move on or stay in honor. In the Devils playground it’s not about being right. It’s about staying in honor. Never refuse anything unless you really know what you’re doing. Acceptance is the key, but how will you accept and what are your terms?

I have noticed that many people today would rather spend their time trying to tear someone down they don't know and cannot effect, then spending their time trying to build up someone they do know and could effect. Themselves. It says a lot about how many seek pointless pursuits, doing things that do nothing for themselves or others around them. It's almost like they've been programmed to be ineffective. It's quite a thing to observe for the times we're in. A time when people are needed more than ever to stand up and claim what's theirs, they make futile attempts to tear down others who cannot be torn down.

Coming to a western country near you. For sure, the smaller ones first, as they are already boiling over. But, it could be a handful of years til you start seeing this across most major cities.

Getting out of the city was one of the best moves I ever made in my life. All medium to large cities are now in a downward spiral. Liberal policies reaching their logical conclusion. Western civilization is being intentionally dismantled. I sold my house downtown Kelowna in 2021. It's now worth less than I sold it for.

Canadian alt media people seem to think that Canada is the only country under attack. Guys, look around. The western world is being intentionally dismantled. This is not exclusive to Canada.

This is what you could do with varying lot sizes in the tropics. Starting at 1/10th acre, 1/8th acre, 1/4 acre, 1/2 acre, to 7/10 acre. If you're interested in being part of this project, you can put your email into my waiting list in the first comment.

Having pride in something you didn't create is an exercise in futility and that's perhaps why the establishment pushes these silly events so hard. They would rather you stood for nothing then stood for something. Then you are forever moldable, then you arrive at the cultural communist revolution. Tear you down to build you back up. It's like the golem of mythology.

When thinking about where you want to live to homestead, understanding the 11 scales of permanence is key. These rank from hardest to easiest to change and it's why Climate is number one and Aesthetics is number 11. Invisible structures (socio-economics and politics is number 4. For Canadians asking, this is why I have stayed in BC and why for the most part it is superior to Alberta, in my opinion. You can avoid or bypass socio-economics and politics in many ways. I talk about these all the time. If BC could build an independence movement and eventually separate from the Crown and Canada, think how incredible this place would be? We would have it all!

The control model of the state has always been to take away your rights and then license them back to you. The model of the new emerging corporate control grid is to get you addicted to their services, throttle them, then rent them back to you. In the process, you've lost the ability to be creative. If you're concerned about the way AI and the explosion of data centres is taking humanity and resources, the video linked in the first comment is a must watch. I share it there and not in the post because any time I share something like this, it doesn't get seen. This panel discussion has some of the best voices in the alternative media. It's a must listen.

Aboriginal title can’t apply to private land, High Court rules ctvnews.ca/canada/article/ab…
Community note
The Supreme Court of Canada did not rule that Aboriginal title cannot apply to private land; it dismissed an application for leave to appeal a New Brunswick Court of Appeal decision on the matter. decisions.scc-csc.ca/scc-csc/scc-l-…
