100% sick of open world games
I'd rather play a 6-10 hour linear experience multiple times than a 20-30 hour padded out open world game.
I hate open worlds. I always find them boring. Latest example is DK Bananza which I couldn't bare to finish, even if it's not 100% the worlds were waaaaay too large, uninteresting (procedurally generated like all open worlds are), generic and copy/pasted for me.

And they talk about authenticity vs Realistic weapons.
If everything was realistic,, Wolverine would have to eat, drink, sleep and take a dump.
Wolverine is Authentically fun, not realistically boring
People complaining about Wolverine suit healing seem to forget that not every video-game is supposed to be realistic.
Sometimes you have to choose aesthetics over realism and I'm telling you, I'd much rather have Wolverine suit heal than see him butt-naked after every fight

Hard disagree.
Theres a difference between being full custom classes ruining the game like allowing a player to use a sniper rifle the entire game vs having set sandbox tools like Halo.
Vs funneling players down a specifc path even though they have given you weapons.
Videogames are not toys that you can just play with however you want. Some are curated experiences that are meant to be played a certain way to be enjoyed fully. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it will have a bigger impact with the intended audience

But they clearly force you to play to use their mechanics over giving the player options to just play as they want.
And I say this as someone who has played Splinter Cell, MGS and Tenchu a fuckton.
