If your argument cannot survive open debate, it is not wisdom. It is weakness wearing a government badge.
Canada’s problem is not that Canadians disagree. Healthy countries disagree. The problem is that too many people in power no longer think they should have to answer the other side. They confuse slogans with thought and moral posing with truth.
Mill understood what our political class has forgotten: you do not even understand your own position until you can state the opposing case honestly and refute it fairly.
Canada needs more of that again.
Less censorship.
Less sneering.
Less expert class arrogance.
More courage.
More debate.
More freedom.

“A search of White’s phone yielded evidence of the offences, and it was determined that Gondek had provided guidance to White on a tactic to approach another councillor in an effort to secure a reconsideration motion. The reconsideration created an opportunity to reopen voting on the application so Gondek could cast a ballot in favour of it.

🚨US BLS Disability survey went to a new all time high of 36.768 million in May.
Last high was November 2025 at 36.638 million.
Notice the 3 sigma trend change that has occurred since February of 2021.
In a little over 5 years the survey has added about 6 plus million folks (22.5% growth)

This morning, a Toronto Police Officer, Constable Marc Pinizzotto, was killed in the line of duty. This tragedy follows the death of OPP Constable Tarun Bali on Tuesday. Canada mourns the loss of these brave officers who dedicated their lives to protecting their communities.
My prayers are with their loved ones, their fellow officers, and their communities in this time of grief.
