I remember when I was aggressively preaching that every money in the home should be used to run the family and then someone said I should “marry first”.
I told her I was married, she said na woman wey no fine I marry na why she dey drop her money for family use.
I looked at her media and discovered she was a faceless account and kept it moving.
Someone too will call me a fool for providing yet cleaning the house because in his or her mind, the idea of a considerate spouse is inexistent in their own world.

Every time she came over, we either had to buy food, or I cook. Not once did she go into the kitchen.
You’ll stay over for 2-3 days. I’ll leave the house to get the ingredients. I’ll prepare everything, make the food and she’ll eat. I’ll do the dishes too after.
It was either that or I had to buy food that we’d eat. Not once did she offer to cook or make us a meal except that one time I’d eaten and she made noodles for herself.
Happened 3 times and after the third time, I just let her go

I used to buy two shawarma when i was dating my now ex girlfriend every week. One for her and one for me when money enters my hand. We dated for four years. I was broke one good week, she went to buy one shawarma and turned her back to me until she was done eating it.
