Finally
Thank you President @officialABAT, @abikedabiri and @biancaojukwu Recall that the abysmal conditions of Nigerians in Ethiopian prisons had been of serious concerns years back. @nidcom_gov swung into action and tackled this extensively under the leadership of its Executive Chairman and CEO @abikedabiri (Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa) and the then Chairman Senate Committee on Diaspora Senator Victor Umeh since 2022. It is heartwarming to note that the govt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally signed an MoU with its Ethiopian counterpart for the exchange of prisoners. With this, about 100 Nigerians in Ethiopia incriminated (mostly for drug related offenses) will return home while any Ethiopian in Nigerian prison will also be released to Ethiopian govt. This prisoners swap is a great milestone that needs to be applauded. With the visit of the Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bianca Ojukwu , the prisoners will now start to return home like the evaluation of Nigerians in South Africa. Here is a list of the Nigerians in Ethiopian prison. @abdullahayofel @mrlurvy @fattylincorn_01 @woye1 @badru75 @Honorarygrandma @NGRPresident @PBATMediaCentre @DOlusegun @Omoola2021 @SAsekome @JohnFanimokun

For some of you who will be asking what will be the gains (merit) of this visit 1. Stronger Trade Relations Nigeria and Madagascar can increase bilateral trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area framework. Madagascar is known for products such as vanilla, cloves, seafood, and mining resources, while Nigeria can export petroleum products, manufactured goods, financial services, and technology. 2. Maritime Security Cooperation Both countries are major maritime states. Nigeria sits on the Gulf of Guinea while Madagascar is strategically located in the Indian Ocean. Cooperation could improve anti-piracy efforts, maritime surveillance, and blue-economy development. 3. Agricultural Partnerships Madagascar is one of the world's leading producers of vanilla and several cash crops. Nigeria could benefit from agricultural research, crop diversification, and investment opportunities in agribusiness.

Marriage is a conscious and deliberate decision of two grown adults with means of sustenance. It is not an affair that deserves millions of tax payers money to be wasted on; not even in a society that battles with poverty, illiteracy, unimaginable number of out of school children and seemingly endless insecurity, which has claimed millions of lives and displaced many of their homes. If this doesn’t get you angry enough, then I don’t know what else will.

Be proud of your growth after all the hardships you have been through. How you handle things sent to take you out of character, the silence instead of proving a point, and the peace you've obtained. Happy new week

• Fuel subsidy was removed and more money started going to state governments. • Unified exchange rate was achieved and economy started to get better. • Food prices and inflation started to reduce. • Student loans by @NELFUND has reached around 1.5M indigent students. • Tax reform bills were passed and implementation started. Some richer folks are paying more while bottom of the pyramid are paying less. “I am impressed by President Tinubu’s policies, especially in the economic sector.” - Prof Soludo (12th August 25) “President Tinubu deserves credit for stabilising the economy - reforms are in the right direction.” - Madam Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (14th Aug 25) “4 years is not enough to make meaningful change in governance.” - Mallam El rufai (31st August 2025); meaning we need continuity President @officialABAT and @SenRemiTinubu visited the United Kingdom 🇬🇧. A £746 million ($990.32 million) financing agreement to modernise Apapa and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos was signed. Purpose is to help align operations with international standards, speed up cargo turnaround time and increase capacity for trade. Insecurity continues to raise its ugly head in several states in what appeared to be coordinated efforts to derail the government. The Armed Forces is dealing with this. Also, some opposition figures and biased commentators are asking Mr President to resign, even with all the reforms highlighted above. Others are doing PR for bandits and deliberately spreading fake news. God sees all. May He destroy all the internal and external forces deliberately destabilising Nigeria. Amen 🙏🏽 . #NigeriaFirst #TinubuReforms #TinubuWillSucceed #UniteAgainstTerror #SayNoToTerrorism #StandWithNigeria #SayNoToFakeNews

And some useless fools are saying why am I going to vote for him again God will punish you all if you ask me that stupid question
Real leadership isn't about making easy choices, it’s about making the right ones. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) is delivering on the bold promises of 2023: • Economic Overhaul: Subsidy removal & exchange rate unification.

On this day 28 years ago, the Almighty God removed this tyrant from the face of the earth. He had perfected plans to transition from a military ruler to a civilian president before his life came to an unexpected ending. Do you doubt his cruelty? Why Nigerians will vote Tinubu again That President Tinubu successfully stopped the retrogressive fuel subsidy regime in Nigeria is one of the key reasons Nigerians appreciate him and want him back in 2027. Tinubu took this bold action and dared the consequences of the short-term economic pains the subsidy removal brought to the citizens. Now, Nigeria is reaping the rewards of Tinubu’s bold action, which has delivered significant results in fiscal and structural stability. Our ECOWAS neighbour, Senegal, that chose to borrow for subsidy consumption, is now facing the very problem it avoided. Senegal is teetering on the edge of fiscal ruin, having consumed borrowed credit without a repayment plan. This situation is now impacting the country’s overall well-being. President Tinubu has rescued Nigeria from this abyss. Nigeria could have followed a similar path. But, has the hardship eased out yet? No. However, the prospect of long-term benefits and stability is now appearing on the horizon. For this, Nigerians who are yet to decide must give their support for President Tinubu to succeed on these reforms. I dare say no other candidate jostling for president has any viable solution to showcase. Not even the self-styled delusional messiah of the headless mob who is unrepentantly devoted to churning out lies and incomprehensible figures is desirable.
