Ouster just announced a production expansion!
The Rev8 family was built from the ground up for low-cost, high-volume manufacturing, paving the way for mass-market adoption across industrial, robotics, automotive, and smart infrastructure markets.
Current production capacity already exceeds 100,000 sensors annually, and Benchmark Electronics operates 20 manufacturing facilities in 8 countries, providing significant room for future scaling.
The implication is clear: revenue growth could accelerate meaningfully in 2H 2026, as management has hinted. In my view, ~$250 million in 2026 revenue may even prove conservative, while Wall Street consensus remains around ~$220 million.
This PR actually reinforces my estimate of up to 1 million sensors being shipped to Amazon over the next few years, assuming Amazon uses the next-generation Proteus robots to replace Hercules and Titan fleets (300 fulfillment centers × ~3,000–4,000 robots each).
