What is the actual case for selective admissions of any kind supposed to be at this point? It's a system designed to lavish the most resources on the people who need the least help.
The most important step for making elite college admissions fairer is to abolish legacy admissions.
But because these universities rely so heavily on alumni dollars, doing this would impact their revenue.
