What is the actual case for selective admissions of any kind supposed to be at this point? It's a system designed to lavish the most resources on the people who need the least help.

The most important step for making elite college admissions fairer is to abolish legacy admissions.
But because these universities rely so heavily on alumni dollars, doing this would impact their revenue.

Cori Bush was one of four women featured in the Netflix documentary Knock Down The House, a doc about progressive candidates taking on established incumbents in the 2018 midterm elections. Only one of them won: AOC. This year every woman who ran again, won. VERY cool to see
