GALAXY QUEST (1999) is one of the best examples of a movie surviving bad marketing. Sold like a broad spoof, it turned out to be a genuinely great sci-fi adventure that understood exactly why people love Star Trek in the first place.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT is the kind of comedy that gets funnier the more times itโs watched. Every rewatch uncovers another joke hiding in the background, another setup that doesnโt pay off until episodes later. Comedy operating on a ridiculous level.

TWIN PEAKS (1990โ1991, 2017) somehow makes a town built on secrets, murder, and nightmares feel oddly comforting. Few shows are better at making you want to sit down with your favorite characters, a cup of coffee, and a slice of cherry pie.
