Thanks to Provost @LindaDoyle for renewing our remit to pursue segregated cycling between Trinity's campuses and residences. Cycling is environmentally friendly, quick, cost-effective, healthy and flexible. Both Trinity and Dublin would benefit from safer cycling.
It’s unbelievable that they’re spending 100’s millions 💰 upgrading the n11, while there’s no train leaving after 6.35pm to beyond Greystones, and only 5 a day. Yet every new development between Greystones and Wicklow is being pitched as “commuter”.
Dublin City Council will appeal the Strand Road judgement because it "has implications for current and future cycleways". They will be seeking an expedited hearing at the Court of Appeal.
