This Expanded Global Gag Rule is already hurting women and girls, minorities, and LGBTQ communities worldwide.
I introduced the Protecting Human Rights and Public Health in Foreign Assistance Act to repeal it. Taxpayer dollars should protect health and human rights—not political agendas.

The Trump Administration just rolled out an Expanded Global Gag Rule that conditions lifesaving aid on adoption of extreme far-right, anti-abortion, anti-equality policies.
This dangerous agenda doubles down on USAID cuts, puts millions at risk, and threatens our national security.
I’m leading legislation to reverse these policies—we won’t stop fighting attacks on women and girls, marginalized communities, and LGBTQ people.
