this part is in extremely poor taste considering lestat was the angel investor in louis' biggest brothel and louis getting a cut of lestat's merch profits is nothing close to the exploitation of sex workers they're both complicit in. if this was meant to be a joke it's a bad one

highlight of the entire show. i said it then and i’m saying it now, nothing is ever topping this scene. the score, the writing, the performances… stripped back, no glitz and glamour, just a parent’s guilt and grief in the back of a truck. the heart of it all. real fucking cinema
