The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Laravel Cloud now automatically scales your HTTP apps based on real-time HTTP request worker pressure. πŸ’ͺ Instead of only waiting for CPU or memory to rise (lagging indicators), Cloud's ingress layer now also watches active requests and adds replicas as demand increases, then removes them when traffic subsides. CPU and memory thresholds still apply too. Cloud scales on whichever limit is reached first. If you already have autoscaling enabled on Cloud, you’re good to go. cloud.laravel.com

By delaying Siri AI in the EU, Apple is trying to turn European users against the DMA. Blaming regulation is easy. Maybe it is a negotiation tactic or rollout tactic to buy more time. They are so late to the AI party that I doubt they'll actually risk losing EU users over this.

This absolutely amazing full show has just been published. I still clearly remember biking to the record shop after school to get the DVD. Watched it twice back to back, then a third time after dinner with my dad. What a show! youtube.com/watch?v=WqPjoh8o…

I've been working on a new Inertia feature that could be useful for almost every Inertia app. It's not fully there yet, but I can't wait to show it πŸ‘€

This is the way.
Here's how I do "agent orchestration" Spoiler: I just talk to the agent, as with most things youtu.be/WAKGhlzpYgs

Next up: router.once(). Same as router.on(), but auto-unsubscribes after the first event. Contributed by @sebdedeyne πŸ‘

We also shipped some bug fixes, most of them backported to 2.x as well. Under the hood we upgraded to TypeScript 6 and swapped ESLint and Prettier for oxlint and oxfmt. Much faster linting and formatting πŸ’¨

When agentic coding first took off I thought frameworks would become less and less relevant. I feel the opposite now. Having a full stack framework that come packaged with skills on how to use the whole stack is a super power (hint hint @laravelphp @inertiajs ).
