men also really SUCK at making community. the fraternity abuse dynamic is really the only thing they do have, hazing each other into violent bonding over misogyny. i think its less about passing, and more about community and the price of community amongst hetero men
"trans men want to be women" or whatever is so interesting. i feel like a lot of trans men don't want to fully pass or be perceived as male because people seen as "cis men" are not welcome in queer spaces. fully passing as a trans man will ostracize you from your community
