How do you follow breeding outcomes in shy, cryptic species? Quantum theory of ecology (can’t see them without affecting behaviour) in breeding #Curlew can be circumvented with careful use of good quality GPS tag data (hint: lots of regular locations!) thanks @pathtrackltd !
Really excited to see our article on identifying Curlew breeding status from GPS tracks in @Ecol_Evol! Many thanks to all our co-authors who've helped get this published. The work was funded by @NatResWales following @RSPBScience funding pilot tags. doi.org/10.1002/ece3.9509
