This. “Character matters....”
“I’m sorry for the people who lost...but this is a good day.” Anybody thinking of writing an analysis of this election. Forget about it. This guy has covered all bases.

Came across this and I really love it. So true for anyone working on digital businessess, particularly marketplaces. Quantity ≠ Quality, Volume ≠ Success, especially when it comes to driving long term enduring value.

Imagine being one of the pricks in WW2 London that refused to turn your lights out at night, in order to stop planes bombing your house, because you didn’t want to be told what to do by the Government. #MaskUpMelbourne

Love this... “In a world of Donald Trumps, be a Peter Norman.”
Today I learned... The white man in this photo was Peter Norman from Australia who finished 2nd the 1968 200m final. Norman stood in solidarity with the American Black athletes. It was Norman who suggested, when discovered they only had 1 pair of gloves, to each wear one. (cont)

Would you be happy with a pay cut if you received the same amount in shares? It's the type of approach we're used to seeing in Silicon Valley but it's been offered (and taken up enthusiastically) at Domain. Here's boss @pellers explaining @MoneyNewsShow podcasts.apple.com/au/podcas…

I have downloaded the COVIDSafe app. Simple process and the more of us who do it the safer we will be! #COVID19 #coronavirusaustralia #stayhomesavelives covidsafe.gov.au

As a collective community, we've all learned a lot about exponential growth over the last few weeks. Can someone much smarter than me explain how collective adoption rates for #COVIDsafe are also non-linear in their impact on safety across our community? #covid19australia
[1/3] I'm feeling incredibly proud of a Leadership team who blazed a trail and moved mountains to bring Project Zipline together, as well as Domain staff across the business who overwhelmingly supported each other, and our business, in complex times. afr.com/companies/media-and-…

[2/3] Project Zipline was all about doing the right thing, preserving jobs, while allowing Domain to have immediate flexibility to deal with the uncertain times ahead, while retaining our most valuable assets, our people and our capacity to develop technology solutions at pace.

[3/3] As I always tell the teams I work with, paraphrasing one of my favourite thinkers @Naval. Fortunes are made in good times, Reputations are made in tough times.

Spot on re: leadership. Fantastic insights and relevant for all. I’m seeing a lot of this across my teams at the moment. While we face uncertain times and a radically different nature of work, it really does bring out the best in some people.
