A tokenized asset becomes infrastructure when it composes. $deJAAA — Janus Henderson’s regulated AAA CLO — is now live as collateral on @eulerfinance . 88% LTV, 1.00% net borrow APY, with up to 8.32x leverage yielding 11.19% ROE. This isn’t just another tokenized asset sitting in a wallet. Regulated credit is now functioning as a real DeFi primitive: it’s absorbing liquidity, enabling leverage, and generating additional yield on top of its base CLO coupon. @centrifuge built the factory. Euler built the lending layer. Clearstar curated the risk. deJAAA simply plugged in. Regulated credit no longer needs “DeFi partnerships.” It needs infrastructure where composability is automatic — vault logic, async redemptions, and compliance are already built in. Still digging.

You can lend out long or short deSPXA from @centrifuge on the Clearstar RWA cluster. Passively lending out your deSPXA tokens currently pays 10.47% yield on top of being long the S&P 500. All on @eulerfinance

Had a Jane Street phone interview in 2016. "Price a 6-month forward on carrots." There's no carrot futures market, so I build one from scratch: seasonal harvest cycles, USDA demand elasticity, cold storage decay rates. One trader stops me. "Your storage cost function– you're modeling the carrot as dead inventory. Like grain in a silo." He asks me the metabolic respiration rate of a post-harvest carrot at 2°C. I estimate. "Your forward is overpriced by exactly that shrinkage. The underlying is consuming its own sugars. It's alive." Good correction. I adjust the model. I think I've recovered. Rejection email comes the next morning. Subject: "Ethical Review." My framework, they write, "relied on the severance of the root organism from its growth medium." The question about respiration was a test. The carrot was still alive and I'd built an entire derivatives structure on top of its death without questioning whether harvest was an acceptable act. I pull up the recruiter's original email. It doesn't say Jane Street. It says Jain Street– a non-violent quantitative commodities fund. The carrot was never supposed to be priced. It was supposed to be refused. I later learn the only candidate who passed that round was a former monk from Gujarat who sat in silence for eleven minutes and said, "I cannot put a price on life." He's now a partner.

Jane Street made ~$40B in 2025 with 3,500 employees, a ~2x from the year before. At ~65-70% profit margin, that's $8M profit / employee, the highest for a 1000 ppl company. High-frequency trading continues to be the most efficient money making engine. I want to share an old story about my Jane Street interview in 2014. Jane Street was known for hiring a lot of math, physics and CS olympiad winners from top universities and putting them through many rounds - including, for trading roles, a gauntlet of mental math. It was my 6th interview and my final round and I recall being asked "What is the next day after today in DD/MM/YYYY where all the digits are unique?" They'd toy with you and say "You can use a pencil and paper, if you want" but you knew that was an instant no. Painstakingly and as quickly as I could, I came to an answer. "How confident are you that this is correct on a 0-1 probability scale?" the interviewer said. "0.95", I blurted out, not fully knowing how to answer that. "Are you sure?" After thinking harder for a few more seconds, I realized I could've flipped the digits around to get a closer date. I gave the interviewer my answer. It was correct. "0.95 huh?" he chuckled. That's when I knew I failed. Note: fwiw, other companies that come close in efficiency are - Tether ($90M profit/emp) - Hyperliquid ($80M profit/emp) and on revenue: - Valve ($50M/emp) - OnlyFans ($37M/emp) - Craigslist ($14M/emp) - Anthropic ($12M/emp, run rate) - OpenAI ($8M/emp, run rate) For comparison, Nvidia is very efficient at scale and is $4.4M/emp.

Can't tell ya how cool it is to be working with the @eulerfinance stack. Euler v2 has features for Hyperliquid EVM Core that only Euler can do (soon ^tm), plus all the benefits of hooks for institutions, wild efficiency gains on swaps, and of course the killer team behind it.

Update on exposure related to the Resolv incident The Euler Yield market on Arbitrum is currently paused, with ~$500k USDC loans collateralized by RLP. We are awaiting further clarity from the Resolv team regarding next steps for this asset. Resolv-related Frontier markets on Plasma are paused, with ~$50k in loans issued against USR collateral. Based on Resolv’s communication that pre-hack USR redemptions will be honored 1:1, this market is expected to be settled gracefully over time. We continue to monitor the situation and will share updates as more information becomes available.

it's time for a life update I have joined @eulerfinance to lead marketing 🥳 I’m a month in and i thought i’d take the chance to talk about why Euler I have long admired Euler, and whenever i tell people i’ve joined the reaction is the same. defi people love Euler. even if no one can pronounce it. while i love working in consumer, i wanted to do something different this time around. the bulk of my career (8 years, i’m old) was in tradfi risk and initially working in crypto was very different, but we’re at a time where worlds are colliding and a lot of those skills are becoming more relevant than ever. I pondered going founder mode, but ultimately decided i wanted to work with a lean team who move fast and are the best at what they do. I’ve always admired @euler_mab, and meeting the rest of the team was enough for me to know that the spirit is strong. a month in, i am absolutely loving it. there’s a whole lot to do and a whole lot coming. i am even more sure that Euler stands apart in its tech in terms of what it can bring to anyone - institutions, protocols, builders, curators - and i’m excited to help translate the tech to the masses. at the moment, other lending protocols/infra have more mindshare and there's a gap to be closed. i aim to educate and help bump our beloved oiler back to where it belongs. i have great respect for what others are building and i am not a combative person - so don't expect me to go to war on the timeline. the reality is, as our (still tiny) industry grows, sensible players will be sure to diversify. there's room for many winners, and i know one of them will be us. i’ll be at EthCC, so say hello (& yes, its oiler btw)

A 2025 protocol update from Euler. Euler operates across 10 chains, with lending markets generating fee revenue continuously as borrowers pay interest. Those fees are periodically auctioned to the public. Auctions are settled in $EUL. Bidders exchange $EUL for the auctioned assets, and the tokens paid accumulate in the Euler DAO treasury. The Euler DAO governs how accumulated tokens may be used, including burning, distribution to stakers, or allocation toward ecosystem growth. In 2025, 484 auctions completed across 11 chains. Auctions generated $2.42M in protocol fees and resulted in 321K $EUL paid by bidders. Relative to TVL, Euler generates comparatively high fee revenue among lending protocols.
