rdcu.be/cmPcW Our new paper in BMC HSR stems from our interest in how Southern Adelaide Local Health Network managed to sustainability build quality improvement (QI) capacity over 15 years. 1/3
We also found that a strong safety culture is not necessarily a pre-requisite for QI; indeed, undertaking QI activities can contribute to an improved safety culture. 3/3
We found 4 components were important: an agreed and robust QI methodology, a skilled faculty to assist improvement teams, active involvement of leadership and management, and a deep understanding that teams matter. 2/3
As one of the first female RAAF pilots, Assoc Prof @RClayWilliams has been recognised in the @RoyalAustMint's new @AusAirForce Centenary coin series. Prior to leading research @AIHI_MQ, Robyn was a military test pilot, an electronics engineer and flight instructor 👏 #AusAirForce
Our Air Force, Our People | When WGCDR Robyn Clay-Williams (retired) joined in 1979, she was told there were no female pilots.
In 1987 she graduated at the top of the first class to allow women.
