Almost a year after the water in Pimlico was contaminated we are yet to reach a satisfactory conclusion on potential causes. @thameswater have been great @CityWestminster could try harder.

Life under Westminster Labour’s locked bins scheme. They have forgotten that the bins are there for residents and paid for by residents.

Sooo frustrating. We could be breathing cleaner air but Labour are slowing the progress. People’s health and the NHS will pay for this.
Last year Labour-run @CityWestminster increased parking charges for electric vehicles by up to 1800%. Yesterday the Labour Government chose to introduce pay-per-mile charges for electric vehicle owners. Yet again Labour talks the talk on improving air quality but refuses to walk the walk.

Pleased to see the press picking up on Labour’s attempts to push through a district heating system that could cost over Ā£50,000 per flat!

Conservative Cllrs Jim Glen, David Harvey & Ed Pitt-Ford backed local people last night against Labour’s Ā£400m Pimlico District Heating Undertaking fiasco - winning unanimous approval for residents to have independent legal support and the transparency they deserve on their community heating system. A real win for protection and residents’ voices. #Westminster #PDHU westm.news/PDHU

I was proud to have helped @David_Cameron fight for Equal Marriage inside the Conservative Party and nationally. And I will defend it with everything I can, it is wrong to demonise someone because of who they love. And ReformUK are showing their true colours with this hate campaign.
When Lord @David_Cameron brought forward Same-Sex Marriage, it wasn’t in spite of being a conservative - but *because* he was a conservative. Real conservatives should delight in gay couples wanting to make these commitments and build roots. Listen to some of our team herešŸ‘‡

In Feb 2024 @RyanJudeGreen committed to hiring an infrastructure investment expert to support Pimlico residents on district heating replacement. No one was hired and Labour are about to discount all but one option. instagram.com/p/C4D0aqAsU2o/…

It’s so disappointing to see Westminster’s Labour led Council giving up powers to the Mayor of London less than a year before an election…
I am hearing shocking news that @CityWestminster have agreed to hand over #oxfordstreet to the Mayor under red route regulations! What happened to standing up to @MayorofLondon for our residents! How can you say it is needed as a Red route and pedestrianise Once we have full details I will share.

Up to Ā£66k per flat. Ā£2.4m already approved just to decide what to do. Labour’s district heating plan is unfair & unaffordable. Conservatives will fight for residents’ right to affordable, reliable heating. westminsterconservatives.com…

The government need to check their assumptions on district heating. Consultants have been using incorrect data to push these schemes forward.
