I think Meiko is MASSIVELY overrated and love Giulia to tears. I STILL think this is Giulia getting the axe. These are 3 of the most important wrestlers of their time and place. Giulia is an incredible pro-wrestler but she means absolutely nothing to wrestling history.
One thing I love so dearly about this match is that Shibata serves as Takayama's stand in as the wrestler who lost everything in the ring but their life, except Shibata made a miraculous comeback. It makes it all the more gutwrenching when Takayama cant stand and fight
