MorningVille Part 10 of 10: I know a place Pixie opened his eyes. The same room... The same 6 a.m.... The same sound of birds... But something wasn't right. As he tried to get out of bed, he felt a small weight on his chest. The silver citizenship medal number 001 was still there. The same medal that had been given to him at the Guild cottage. But now there was something different: on the back of the medal, a picture of a green boy had been added, similar to his new friends in @morningvillexyz . Under that picture, in tiny, bright writing, it was written: Touch me and tell me I know a place... Pixie held the medal in his hand, wanting to go back. He was still dazed and he could feel that feeling of freshness and exhilaration in Morningville and in himself. He took the medal in his hand and went and opened the window wide. The morning breeze blew through the room, his citizenship medal warmed and he could feel its warmth in his hand, then cooled again, as if the medal had been waiting. Pixie took a deep breath and whispered softly ........ SAKEFINANCE Part 3: soneium score 7 Pixie stayed home the next morning and was busy with his blockchain projects until the evening. He was tired and told himself that he better go to the sip haven cafe and have a drink. He was getting ready and putting on his sailor jacket when the green Sake Finance card fell out of his pocket and onto the floor. Wow.... He was shocked. He had completely forgotten about Sipri. He looked at his watch and quickly got ready and quickly got to sip haven. From behind the cafe window, he saw Ms. Sipri was sitting at a table with a gray cat and the cat was watching something on her laptop and talking to each other. Pixie pretended not to see them and entered the cafe and passed by Sipri's table. At that moment, Sipri called out and said: Hello Captain, you are late today! Pixie turned calmly and as if he had just noticed them, he walked warmly to Sipri and said, "Hello, my friend, how nice to see you." Sipri invited: "Come and sit here, Captain. ASTAR NETWORK Part 6: Sixth Floor They were both waiting for the elevator to arrive and Pixie asked Captain Reza where we were going? Reza said: To the Tokenomics floor, where the real economy of ASTR is taking shape. The short story is that after the success of dApp Staking and the Polkadot parachain, we launched zkEVM in 2023-2024 to connect Astar to Ethereum quickly and cheaply. This brought developers to us, but not everything was perfect. The costs sometimes went up and it was hard to compete with other chains. Pixie nodded: So you had challenges too? The elevator arrived and they both got on and Reza pressed the button for the sixth floor and said to Pixie: Yes, there are always challenges. But in collaboration with Sony, we turned zkEVM into @soneium . A layer 2 on Ethereum that focuses on gaming, entertainment and everyday apps for ordinary people. The transition took time, users and projects had to transfer their assets, some were worried, but the team guided and went ahead without forcing. Now in 2026 Soneium is active and ASTR is used in millions of real activities. The elevator reached the 6th floor and the doors opened and the two came out. In front of them was a large control room with digital screens showing ASTR supply and inflation graphs. One of them was a red arrow of the old inflation and the other was a green arrow of the new decrease. Reza continued: Here we have reached Tokenomics 3.0, which was activated this year. Annual inflation was reduced from 7% to about 5.5%, the maximum supply was fixed at about 10.5 billion ASTR (and with Burndrop it may be even less), and the Burndrop mechanism allows users to voluntarily burn part of their ASTR to increase scarcity and value comes from real network activities, not just inflation. These changes were the result of long discussions by the community, not always perfect and flawless, but we moved forward with patience and voting. 📢 Astar Governance Compensation Proposal, My View After carefully reviewing the Astar Foundation Forward proposal on governance compensation, I believe the proposed model (fixed ASTR amounts $0.05 reference price quarterly community referendum) is significantly stronger and more sustainable than the current USD based approach Main reasons I support the proposed model: 1. Much better treasury protection when ASTR price is low so fewer tokens distributed in bear markets 2. True alignment: contributors’ rewards rise together with ASTR’s success 3. Powerful carry forward mechanism, the community (ASTR holders) can vote to delay payouts during high selling pressure or market stress 4. Clear long term signaling: governance participants show confidence in ASTR’s future value Of course, no model is perfect. If the price stays very low for a long time, contributor retention could become challenging That’s why I think a few small adjustments could make it even stronger: 1. Possibly start with a slightly lower reference price (e.g. $0.04–0.045) 2. Add a minimum mandatory distribution floor (e.g. 30–40% every two quarters) 3. Allow periodic reference price review (every 12–18 months) Overall, I see this proposal as a responsible step toward more decentralized, community driven, and treasury conscious governance What do you think? My dear friend @KhonsaReza I still can’t believe it… When I woke up this morning and saw that I was on the list, my heart stopped for a moment. I am truly grateful. Not just for this amazing Shogun, but for everything Arkada has made for me. I wrote that comment under the Base post with all my sincerity, because I have truly walked this same path. From the initial excitement to the challenge of paying for GasFi tasks, to Pixie and my stories… and finally the best part was finding friends like you. You are the one I met in the Arkada community and now you have become a really cool and professional friend to me.
