After 36 years in business, Brixton News will close on Friday. TfL tripled their rent demands to £120,000 - but since reduced the figure to £85,000, after failing to find a willing tenant.
We can reveal TfL are still yet to confirm the new vendor — and in promo materials envisage the retail unit to be coffee shop.
