Of course fascism was syncretic and borrowed from socialism, conservatism, etc.
But fascism wasn’t really an economic ideology, it was an extreme form of ethnic nationalism.
There were several different versions of it, some more privatisation, others more keen on state ownership.
But what unities all forms of fascism is blood and soil. The idea that one group of people have a an exclusive ethnic/historic/racial right to the land.
And that others either do not and must leave, either by force, or even murder.
That’s why I’d say the Israeli government are fascist (but not Nazis) for example.
