The Flying Squads of @CAQM_Official had 175 inspections throughout the period, which were focused on C&D sites (23 inspections), industrial units (37 inspection), #roaddust management, and #Diesel Generator (DG) sets (114 inspections).
Some of the results were 10 unit closure proposals, 27 DG sets sealing, 8 Show Cause Notices, and #Environmental Compensation (EC) of one unit.

Studies have shown that vehicles contribute around 40% to Delhi’s PM2.5 load. It is clear that the focus should be on cutting emissions.
Acc. to @CAQM_Official, as many as 93% of the 2.88 crore vehicles on the road in #Delhi-NCR are light motor vehicles (LMVs; essentially #cars) and two-wheelers. More than a third- around 37% - of this #fleet comprises BS III or even older vehicles, which have a significantly higher emissions potential.

कानपुर शहर की सड़कों पर बाइक से चलो तो क्या मिलेगा?
धूल, मिट्टी, गर्द और ट्रैफिक जाम!
ऊपर से ये उड़ते कीड़े —
हेलमेट का वाइज़र बंद करो तो सड़क धूल से दिखती नहीं,
खोल दो तो कीड़े आंख में आकर “विकास” का चुम्मा दे जाते हैं।
नेता लोग तो लैंड क्रूज़र, डिफेंडर, फॉर्च्यूनर और रेंज रोवर में घूमते हैं,
उन्हें न गड्ढों से फर्क पड़ता, न धूल से, न कीड़ों से।
पर हम आम लोग —
काम, धंधा और राइडिंग का शौक लेकर दोपहिए पर निकलते हैं,
और हर दिन इस सिस्टम की सच्चाई अपनी आंखों में झेलते हैं।
