I have a cousin with down syndrome & by the time we were in our mid-20s she had been sexually assaulted or raped too many times to count. I just remember our mothers & aunts whispering, trying to figure out how to protect a person who makes an incredibly easy target for predators

if someone fucks my gf I am going to pretend I don’t care but I already know what I would do to retaliate first, I would find out where the person used to live and look at library archives for unsolved murders from that time and place then I would read contemporaneous newspaper articles and get just enough details about the murder that I can call the police anonymously and say the guy who hooked up with my gf committed the murder and told me precise details. details only the killer would know “but you learned the details from a newspaper article!” ok it will be an old article and also maybe I’ll make some educated guesses now the guy is being investigated for a cold case homicide 😂😂😂 they might even find him guilty. serves him right for hooking up with my gf

I just canceled a camping trip over a seatbelt. I was the only one with a car and license, so I had one rule for the 4-hour drive: Wear your seatbelt. One friend immediately started complaining. Eventually he buckled up. Less than a minute later, my dash alerted me he'd taken it off. I pulled over. "Put it back on." "No. Just drive." So I turned the car around, dropped everyone off, and went home. Now I've been kicked out of the group chat and unfollowed by all of them. We've been friends since elementary school. Apparently asking people to wear a seatbelt is where they draw the line.

Dear @Hertz, when i got read-ended while at a stop in your car, called your roadside number and got a "please call during business hours" message, i laughed. When I went to your location to return the car and provide insurance info of the person who hit me, and was told "do not worry we'll take care of it", i was relieved. But when weeks later you contacted me demanding i pay cash for the repair and told me hat in fact you "never take care of it" and you have no idea who told me, andit was on me to "handle it", I was furious. Luckily (with permission) I recorded your employee telling me at great length that you will in fact take care of it and after submitting this report at the location, there was no further action required of me. So, what now? Is this the sort of business you run? Lying to customers and attempting to gaslight them? Seriously?
