Today is a sobering reminder of the sacrifices and risks faced by police officers across Ontario every day as they work to keep our province safe.

Another officer injured in the line of duty while protecting our communities. Every search warrant, every call, and every shift carries the potential for violence. Today’s shooting is a stark reminder of the dangers police officers face in service to the public. Our thoughts are with the injured officer, their family, and their colleagues.
